What do these three things have in common? You can get all of these delicious treats at Hidden Hills Orchard on Saturday October 11th!! Come out to the Orchard and pick your own apples while enjoying the fall color of the surrounding hills……then hang around to grab a cup of hot tea from me, and a cupcake from Lisa’s Sweet Stop! I will be set up with ALL of my varieties to restock your tea cupboard, a couple of hot teas “on tap” to enjoy with your cupcake, and a one-time-only special edition of loose-leaf for sale—Chamomile!
Some of you have requested Chamomile in loose-leaf instead of teabags so you could have MORE (I totally get it)! Chamomile takes awhile to pick (tiny flowers!), but this year I went overboard and will be able to bring a limited number of loose-leaf chamomile packages with me just for this event! Which is perfect, because Chamomile comes from a Greek word which translates as “earth apple” (wild chamomile has a distinct apple-y scent!). So, how could I sell Chamomile anywhere else other than my favorite apple orchard? 🙂

P.S. Hidden Hills carries some of my varieties in their farmstand all season long!! They are always rotating out the tea choices, so check out which ones they are showcasing anytime you go pick apples!
