Ohio Pawpaw Festival!

Mark your calendars for Sept 13th-15th…..it’s the Pawpaw Festival at Lake Snowden in Albany, Ohio! Held on a field adjacent to a lake and campground, this is probably my favorite Ohio festival, with a mashup of music, pawpaw cider & beer, food trucks serving pawpaw-themed food, artisan vendors, and dozens of insanely interesting homesteading workshops. Learn how to use a scythe, process your own backyard chickens, make kefir, grow oyster mushrooms, and create herbal tinctures….not to mention how to grow and forage for Ohio’s official native state fruit—the pawpaw! The festival also has a focus on wellness, with sessions on acupuncture, letha yoga (partner stretching), tai qi gong, and even a midnight sound bath!

This will be my third year now selling at Pawpaw Festival, and I am always delighted by the new things to learn, interesting people, and delicious food! See you there!!
