River City Farmers Market this Saturday!

I am very excited to be setting up at the River City Farmers Market this Saturday (Aug 17th) from 9am-1pm! This is a bustling market that shuts down a block of Butler Street in downtown Marietta (between 2nd and 3rd Street). I will be bringing my entire range of herbal tea varieties, and my BB2C intern Josie will be helping me out!

I will also be debuting a new variety of herbal tea that I’m trying out this season—Calendula! These brilliant flowers have been cultivated since Roman times, when it was a popular medicinal herb used for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Later during Tudor times it was a common ingredient in soups and stews, as Calendula contains nutrients such as vitamin C and phosphorous. This remarkable flower can also help regulate female hormones and ease menstrual cramping. And watching the flowers rebloom in your tea is a ton of fun!
